Oh my Saturday!
So that was my Saturday... How was yours?
I've had a pretty productive Sunday as well. I'm going to work on some sewing tonight, I have some alterations to do, another duvet cover, and a couple scarves to make.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!
Love always.

Yummm-o... Zucchini Pizza.
2 bags of the mix with water pizza dough
1 small zucchini
1 small yellow squash
6 oz. can of tomato paste
8 oz. can of tomato sauce
8 oz. bag of mixed italian cheese
1/3 c. gorgonzola cheese
1/4 c. softened butter {or margerine}
1/4 c. sugar {or sugar substitute}
various italian seasoning {garlic, basil, parsley, salt, pepper, etc}
After the 5 minutes is up, take the crust and place it on the greased pan. Spread it out to the corners. Prick with a fork all over the dough. Bake this for another 5 minutes. While the crust is baking slice your zucchini and squash into thin circular pieces.
Once the pizza crust is finished it's time to add the toppings!! First spread the butter mixture around the edges. Then do the normal... sauce, cheese {and add the gorgonzola on top of the italian cheese}, a dash of garlic, then place the zucchini evenly all over the pizza. Pop it into the oven for 10-12 minutes, until the cheese starts to bubble and the zucchini looks done.
This is what it should look like.

If you aren't wearing green...
Let's face it -- it's a holiday (ish) and none of us are really in the mood for a deep, thought provoking blog, right? Ok, ok, so I'm not really in the mood to write one today, deal with it. ;-) There's way too much green food, beer, and celebration to be had to focus on the nitty gritty!

Pretty, simple, and stylish.
I love the maxi skirt trend. I've been playing with different ways to wear it and thought I'd share a simple style board I put together. This ensemble is very easy, comfortable, and easily transitioned from day to evening.
Key Players
- Top -- faith won't fail teal pleated tank from Ruche. $29.99
- Skirt -- waiting for love to arrive floral skirt from Ruche. $32.99
- Shoes -- blossoming in style wedges also from Ruche. $71.99
- Necklace -- mustard & lace fabric frame necklace from oh, sweet joy! $25.00 (She's a dear Twitter friend of mine! She makes fabulous handmade items, check her out! @ohsweetjoy)
Maxi skirts can easily be translated as dowdy and boring, but if you add bright pops of color such as the aqua top and the mustard necklace it keeps the maxi skirt youthful and fresh. Finishing the outfit with nude wedges helps to elongate the body and bring all the pieces together.
I envision wearing this for a late spring day out with the girls; brunch, shopping, and sight seeing. Such a pretty, simple, and stylish outfit.
Where would you wear this??
Love always,
me
