Who says neutrals have to be boring??

Not me! I think an assortment of great neutral and nude pieces in one's wardrobe allows so many mix and match options. You can pair any of these pieces with absolutely any other color {even other neutral shades}. I think the tshirt {3} would be adorable with a bright blue skirt and flats for a day out shopping and running errands. Or the lace dress {13} with a pair of bright heels or wedges would be perfect for a date night. These pieces act as perfect blank canvases.

1. the sweater -- mauve in a little closer top from ModCloth. $64.99.
2. the earrings -- bronze shadow earrings from Designs by Mandi. $17.00 (Mandi is a friend of mine who's boutique has some fabulous jewelry. I LOVE my ring from her! Check her out on twitter too @designsbymandi}
3. the tshirt -- aerie printed t from Aerie. $17.50.
4. the romper -- cremini tasting romper from ModCloth. $34.99.
5. the scarf -- desert crossing scarf from Anthropologie. $138.00.
6. the heels -- rocket dog "oak" t-strap heels from Ruche. $56.99.
7. the skirt -- macadamia skirt from ModCloth. $39.99.
8. the headband -- the lo from milarosedesigns on Etsy. $42.00.
9. the flats -- astor canvas stretch flat from Ann Taylor. $128.00.
10. the cardigan -- kiss and pointelle cardigan in smooch from ModCloth. $42.99.
11. the swimsuit -- drawn to the heart maillot from Anthropologie. $138.00.
12. the pants -- neutral grounds khaki tailor pants from Ruche. $38.99.
13. the dress -- kimchi blue lace dress from Urban Outfitters. $68.00.

I hope this gives you some ideas on all the neutral items you can mix into your wardrobe. Pieces like this are very classic and timeless. They won't go out of style and you will be able to wear them so many different ways.

Happy Wednesday!

Love always,
me
