Day 15....shopping list....

I could easily make a grocery list or a list of things needed around the house (like a working dryer, as I write this from the laundry mat...) but what fun is that?? Nope, its my fashion "want" list.

And because I decided to write it in peach sharper, you can barely read the photo. So it says....
- maxi skirts (I know I'm short but I think I can do it)
- sperry deck shoes
- pretty fedoras
- nude heels
- floral scarf
- white (I love love love wearing white in the spring!)
- lady-like dresses

Of course, there are a lot of other things I want but these made the top of my list...

What's on your shopping list??

Love always,
Me

Change.

I struggle with how personal to make my blog. Yes, it's a diary of sorts -- but at the same time you have to ask yourself, "do you want a lot of people reading your deepest thoughts?"

I have a love/hate relationship with this notion. I love having the ability to connect with people from all over who may be going through (or have gone through) a similar situation and we can sympathize with each other; share laughter and tears, inspiration and dread. However, on the other hand -- I don't know how I feel about the idea of someone judging my thoughts and emotions, my actions and reactions.

But at the end of the day and really thinking about it -- I've decided that the aforementioned "love" wins. If I can connect with someone else so they may have that "I'm not the only one" moment -- that makes it all worthwhile.

With that said...

Have you ever met someone that you instantly knew would change your world? Not in a bad way -- but in a way that takes you outside of your norm?

I have. Well, I've met a lot of people throughout the years who have changed my life. But I'm speaking in a sense of relationships.

Dating. The maybe this is forever kind.

I met this person some time ago. But even still, the moment we met, I knew he wasn't like the others. He was from a different world than I was. Enjoyed things I'd never thought about. Challenged me to look above and beyond myself. And taught me, even through all the hell, to always look out for the most important person, me.

Although, because of the outcome, I don't know that he'll understand or see the light that I do now. I don't know if he'll ever know that little things he did change in me. But I guess at the end of the day, that's ok. It makes it all a little easier somehow. And my hopes for him are that he meets someone and has that instant thought of, "This girl is gonna change my life; without question."

He did that for me. And I thank him for that. Despite the way it ended. I truly believe everything happens for a reason. Every person that has been brought into your life has a purpose. And at the end of every relationship; there's a lesson.

Have you ever met someone and instantly knew they were going to change your world?

Happy thought provoking Tuesday, pretties!

Love always,
me

Day 14...30 days of lists.

What I love about.... yep, you guessed it... SPRING! I know, I should have came up with something far more original but that's all I could think about today.... so here it is...

The Mondays.

I have a serious case of them. I'm sleepy. I still need to do laundry. Our drain is broken so we can't do dishes. I'm still trying to figure out whats going on with my car. And I need some caffeine. Ugh.

But enough complaining. Spring is on its way this week. Yayyyy! I'm so insanely happy about this. Which means spring fashion (I just did a little happy dance!), walks in the park, running outdoors, cookouts, and MY BIRTHDAY (I know, I know, my mom and brother's birthdays are first. But still...)!!!! I do believe this should be observed for an entire month. The entire month of May I drive my friends and family insane with it... but they have learned to accept it and have fun with it! Yayy for the bestest (or most tolerant) people in my life!

How's your Monday treating you? Did it start off well?
If you can could you please bring me some Starbucks??

Have a good day loves!!

Love always,
me

10 things I love... RIGHT NOW!

Face it - we are all obsessing over something right now. So Sunday obsessions is born... This is a list of the 10 things I'm seriously obsessed with right now. Check 'em out... you just may fall in love with them yourself. ;)

The Band Perry is amazing. Her vocals and their lyrics are so refreshing, fun, and just perfect in my opinion.
This stuff smells aaaamazing. Victoria's Secret Bombshell.

My leopard print scarf is serving as my "neutral" scarf for the spring. I'm in love with it. Mine came from Charming Charlie at Polaris.

My newly blonde hair. Thank you Ann Groves at Tangles on the Ave. I love, love, love it. I missed being blonde. I feel like myself again.

Spring. In Ohio. It's glorious. (Check my previous posts for more pictures!)

Reading: I'm in the process of reading both of these books. And I must get through them soon... I have an ample list of other books I can't wait to read!

Sonny and Brenda on General Hospital. My favorite fictional couple, ever. I'm loving that they're back together after so many years. (Yes, I'm a silly girl who loves soap operas...I blame my momma. :))

Meet Mac, aka J.dizzle, he's the new kitten in the Shull household and he's ADORABLE.

The Shine Project is this fabulous blog and inspirational project that my dear Twitter friend, Ashley started. Check it out. I promise, you will be inspired.

Time with my friends. I'm so thankful for them. They're simply amazing.

And time with my family. They are the best people I've ever known and I'm such a lucky, lucky girl to have them.

What are you in love with RIGHT NOW??

Have a fabulous Sunday, loves.

Love always,
me

I've always been afraid of flying...

...but you can't blame a girl for trying. I have had this song from The Band Perry stuck in my head all day long. Such a good album and a fresh new band (if you like country music)!! I definitely recommend checking them out.

Anywho... I've had a very busy Saturday out with the boys! It was such a beautiful day. The sun was shining, the temperatures were rising, and the breeze was blowing. Spring is in the air my friends.

Here's my Saturday in photos...

This is my favorite part about spring... busting out my super old chucks.

We went to Noodles & Co for lunch.

I had buttered noodles with broccoli. One of my fav's... try it! So delish!

Quick stop at Barnes & Noble. Could spend hours there.

Headed to the park for a bit to enjoy some sunshine.

Went and saw Rango - cute movie. A little less kid friendly than I had anticipated, but I don't think they caught on. They loved it!

Venti iced black tea from Starbucks - also known as my fuel. I'm seriously addicted.

And back to the park we went... it was far too beautiful of a day to spend it indoors.

Me, in my thrifted Ralph Lauren shirt (that I LOVE).

How was your Saturday?

What song do you have stuck in your head?

Love always,
me

30 days of lists...weekly rituals.

Day 12 list - weekly rituals.

As I was making this list I realized that I don't have many rituals - at least not ones I could think of off the top of my head. And clearly, I watch too many TV shows. Oh well.

What does your week look like??

Love always,
me
